The Bell Inn Winchester

I would like to ask the previous reviewer where they found the meal featuring chips, Yorkshire pudding, and a generous portion of gravy on the Bell's menu. It looks absolutely delicious in their photo! I don't understand why they gave such a poor review for a dish that doesn't even exist on the menu. It's almost as if they ordered a fry-up and just added chips on the side before drowning it in gravy. On a serious note, my friend and I visit most Sundays, and we’ve never had a bad meal here. The Bell Inn is your typical English pub, which is great. In a sea of chain bars and gastropubs the tradition British pub is becoming a rarity and The Bell Inn has a consistent group of regulars with a nice family friendly vibe to the place. There is a good range of tradition pub grub with a friendly and efficient bar team and a large beer garden to enjoy the weather. We often walk around the St Cross area and finish with a pint and some food.

on Sunday we would recommend a personal pleasant and dedicated. roast beef and pork were good. the selection of the veg was very good and plentiful portions in the side shells. good choice of the layner. clean and clean spaces with pleasant garden. looks like dogs and children welcome.

Beautiful place to walk and take your dog and family. Beautiful views and lots of space. Car park is free too
