We recently visited The Bell for a work reunion and all seven of us had a fantastic time. The pub is spacious and was bustling with diners on the Friday night we visited, which is a testament to the great value pub food they offer. Our orders were taken quickly and the food arrived promptly. The breaded mushrooms we started with were delicious, as were the Nachos which came in a generous portion. The main courses were equally tasty, with options like fish and chips, lasagne, and fish pie all being well-received. The only slight downside was that the desserts were hit and miss, with one friend's trifle being likened to a dessert from the seventies, while another enjoyed the profiteroles. The...
