Our group ordered the “Crazy Breakfast”, which includes 2 Eggs, 2 Bacon, 2 Sausage, 2 Pancakes, and we added Red skin Potatoes on the side. Although I couldn't get my eggs poached, I was happy with them over easy. The food was delicious – the bacon perfectly crispy, the sausage flavorful with a nice crisp skin, and the pancakes light and fluffy. The potatoes were also cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and moist inside.
While The Big Egg offers starters, salads, sandwiches, and other entrees, I couldn't resist ordering the “Crazy Breakfast” again. The prices were surprisingly affordable – my breakfast was only $3.99 and the potatoes were $2.49 (enough for 2 people). The value for money...
The restaurant has the ambiance and scent of an old-fashioned family diner. Unfortunately, there were no dessert options available. I ordered the corned beef Swiss omelet and honey-dipped fried chicken. The waitresses seemed to ignore me until I had to approach them myself. One waitress took my order while the other delivered the food but took a while to find me. The corned beef Swiss omelet was disappointing, with cold buttered bread instead of toast. The mashed potatoes with the honey-dipped fried chicken tasted artificial and unappetizing. The fried yellow squash and onion slices were greasy. Although the chicken was not dry, the crispy skin was detached and reminiscent of cafeteria food.
So I’m giving this a five star review not because the food was five star necessarily, but… OK it’s kind a like this, when you go to McDonald’s the food is fantastic because, well, it’s McDonald’s. You don’t expect anything exceptional they just do “that” well. So I went into big egg not knowing what to expect, but when I walked in to pick up my order and saw the place… It’s old! I kind of figured what to expect. Solid food. A little pricey ? , and after a 30+ mile bike ride… It was fantastic! Even the sliced canned mushrooms and petite diced canned, drained tomatoes tasted fantastic after that long ride. We’ll be back.
There's nothing fancy or trendy about the Big Egg. But the food and service are 5 star. Friendly staff, huge menu, convenient hours. The food... It's incredible! If you're anything like me and love a big, hearty breakfast Get the Morning Delight.

I received friendly and quick service at this restaurant. The menu offers a diverse selection of options. The spinach and feta omelette I ordered was absolutely delicious.
I love the Mexican omelette even if it comes out of the body quickly if you know what I'm saying, honestly it's a great breakfast spot/sober upper on the weekends.
