What a fantastic concept! The Bike Lock offers safe storage for my incredibly pricey e-bike, along with excellent coffee, delicious food, friendly staff, and a vibrant atmosphere—everything is just great! One suggestion for the future would be to extend operating hours to accommodate those catching early trains or returning late to Cardiff. I hope to see more establishments like this popping up across the country, as even securely locking your bike doesn't guarantee it won't be vandalized. I would definitely consider getting a yearly membership, but unfortunately, I won't be in Cardiff for much longer. Absolutely my favorite spot in the city for coffee and a snack! The food is excellent, the coffee is great, and it's reasonably priced. However, what truly makes this place shine is the outstanding customer service and delightful atmosphere. The staff is wonderful and incredibly friendly, and the overall vibe is so uplifting. Three years ago I was in Cardiff for language learning. This is a fantastic cafe where I used to go and work almost every day. Their coffee is the best in Cardiff, and I highly recommend their desserts. The owner, Tom, is a huge Villa fan and loves talking about football : Best regards, Sezgo from Istanbul. I came here as I was participating in Cardiff's Pride Cymru 5k run, and the run was beginning and ending at the cafe. Obviously it was very busy as over 100 runners descended on the cafe, but the service was excellent and the staff very helpful. As I'd just run my fastest 5K of 2026, I treated myself to a slab of chocolate cake, which was divine.

Easily the best coffee in Cardiff. Visited 26/5/26 and the staff on shift today were absolutely stellar, couldn’t recommend them or the place enough.
