Went to the Billet last night with a large group of family. As somebody who is trying to lose weight I was hoping for salad to be on the menu, but unfortunately it wasn’t. It didn’t matter though, as Kay the landlady asked the kitchen to make me a chicken and bacon salad, which they did and it was absolutely delicious. So kind of them, as they didn’t have to do that they could have just said “no, it’s not on the menu”. Everybody enjoyed their food, the service was excellent and all of the staff were really friendly and attentive. It’s reasonably priced too. We will definitely be back!
A lovely pub with a cozy atmosphere at an affordable price. The pub is owned by Greene King and offers simple parking and outdoor seating for dining and drinking. Table service is available, as well as a separate area with a pool table and darts for entertainment. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast. The only downside is the unpleasant smell from the toilets that can sometimes waft into the seating area, making it difficult to fully enjoy the delicious food. Overall, a great experience.
Haven't been here for a little while as not had time. But have never had a bad experience, the staff are absolutely lovely. 5 times people checked in on us and all were pleasant friendly and funny. We had roast dinners and every part of it was delicious really generous portions too. Thank you
