I stayed at this restaurant about 12 months ago for 3 nights. The owners, Marion and Ian, were absolutely fantastic, as were all the employees. The room was clean, beautiful, and comfortable with a view of the harbor. The dining experience in the restaurant and breakfast room was excellent (you will not leave hungry). I plan on returning, even though the journey from Merseyside is not for the faint-hearted. Overall, it was a wonderful short break and I would recommend anyone visiting Islay to check out this hotel.
