this place has gone down the hill, which is a scandal, as my wife and I always like to call. Those who were forbidden by the previous administration are now back. there is nowhere as friendly as it was before, no warm...gradations from each of the staff. the drinks have risen in price, expensive, even if they use a CAMRA card. it was in the lime bar for two drinks cheaper than here. recently renovated, but they wouldn't know. they win it two stars because the beer was a decent pint.

In this age it is great to have a local pub, they are becoming rarer. The Bull has been a retreat for myself for over 25 years and it still has a great charm. The current “skippers” keep things on track with Thursday quizzes and...other activities. Great beer garden for the great British summer and the occasional barbecue. Sports on TV though not intrusive and Camra discount on a selection of quality real ales served by great staff. Check website for detail.

Don't go here , they don't allow young people in then charge you £85 for parking . Most expensive stop off I've ever had the disadvange of having . Absolutely disgraceful is a understatement .
