I’m genuinely disappointed to write this review, but I feel I need to share my experience from this morning. As a Pace University student, I inquired about whether they would honor the discount without my physical ID. Unfortunately, I was met with a rude response and an eye-roll from the staff member, who insisted that a physical ID was required. While I understand the policy and would have accepted it if she had approached me with kindness, her attitude was disheartening. I have always enjoyed the Black Cow and have spent much of my academic career studying there, so this experience has really left a sour taste. I won’t be returning.
This charming local coffee shop is simply fantastic. I often stop by for my morning coffee and source all my coffee beans here (I bring my own container to refill, as my household aims to minimize waste). The staff is always friendly, skilled, and efficient. I have never had a disappointing drink; my go-to choice is a classic cappuccino. It’s also a cozy spot to relax, chat, or get some work done. I'm so glad I live nearby!

Definitely one of my top places for cold brew. First time here but it's very good. Plus it was close by sleepy hollow and I couldn't resist stopping by!
This is the only place nearby that offers an eggnog latte. Starbucks has run out of them this year, so there's no need to go there!
This is the second black cow location I’ve been too and it’s similarly cute and the coffee is always excellent.
