The Black Taste Thai is a beaut place to enjoy a great range of casual Thai style food in a very accessible spot in St Ives. A choice of indoor or outside dining ( which is great if you have a dog companion like us) However note the outdoor dining is not undercover. Staff are friendly enough though could do with some enhanced English and communication skills. My pooch bumped my mineral water over no breakages however the waitress very quickly just arrived with a new one opened and poured. She didn't ask if I needed it and it was on the bill. I felt I had no input into that scenario at all. The outdoor chairs aren't really too comfortable for a long sit. Having said all of the above the. Food...

This is one of many Thai restaurants in St Ives. My partner & I have supported the restaurant since it opened. Slowly, slowly we have stopped venturing there, the service is poor with the outdoor eating worn out and dilapidated. The chairs are about to fall apart as are the tables. There's no one taking ownership of the running of this business. Sorry to say but you've lost our business until you inject some money back into it and train your staff to look after it's clientele.

This restaurant is a hidden treasure on the north shore for Thai cuisine. I opted for delivery and was thrilled with how quickly the food arrived, still piping hot. The Tom Yum soup was delicious and the stir-fried dishes were outstanding with generous portions of ingredients. I look forward to trying other dishes on my next visit. The prices are very reasonable considering the portion sizes.

This hidden treasure on the north shore is exactly what we were looking for. We were in search of a place that served fresh, authentic Thai street food in a casual and cozy setting. The restaurant offers a nice variety of dishes to please all tastes without overwhelming the menu with too many options, allowing them to focus on their specialties. Highly recommended! The food at this restaurant was fantastic - fresh and beautifully presented. However, the service was quite slow, so if you're not in a rush, I would recommend it! The special of the day was truly exceptional.

Best Thai food I have ever had! Never fails to disappoint and never had a bad experience here. It's our favourite eat out/takeaway. Chicken Satay, Ayam Chicken, Pad Thai, Curry.....all so so good!

Has the usual range of stir fries, curries, noodles and soups. We had the green curry and chicken with cashews and both were delicious. Service was quick and friendly.

I was looking forward to my meal but was disappointed by the rude staff, average food and rude staff. Will not go again!
