After reading the reviews I was very disappointed, so unless they have changed their chef we were not amazed. Frozen roast potatoes and frozen yorkshire puddings !!! Three tiny potatoes ! Such a shame as the atmosphere, hospitality excellent . Please Please get rid of the frozen potatoes Roast your own !!! and Yorkshires not hard. Other than that we would have given an excellent . Strudel was lovely
We enjoyed a delightful lunch at this charming pub with excellent and friendly service. We will definitely return soon to indulge in more delicious homemade continental style strudel. The pub is a tranquil spot with a cozy fireplace, perfect for a cold January day, and conveniently located near public footpaths. Plus, it's dog-friendly!
The food was fantastic with a really good selection of great dishes. If you are into your real ale then Dad had their own Black Horse stout which was excellent. The owner and bar staff were super friendly and accommodating. The dog loved lying in front of the fire and was spoiled with gravy bones. Could not recommend this pub enough.
This pub is fantastic. It is a cozy little spot with a small menu, but the food is absolutely amazing. My father and I both tried the Hungarian veal and it was delicious. We arrived late but the staff were very accommodating. The service was excellent.
