"Nice beer, but dreadful focaccia nearly £8 for four stale slices of bread. I complained to the barmaid who, to her credit, seemed to take what I said seriously."

The Blue Anchor Crowborough, what can I say. We have been coming to this pub for a long time. We had our wedding lunch here 5 years ago and each time we come it gets better. This afternoon there is a large birthday party on in the restaurant and on the patio, but the staff even though they are rushed off their feet have been amazing apologising for the wait for drinks and food which hasn't been long compared to other places I have been. The food as always was fantastic. Thank you and well done Amy and team.

Well what can I say? The Blue Anchor has surpassed themselves yet again. We had a fantastic evening celebrating our daughter’s 21st birthday last night. From the venue, to the staff and the delicious food we can’t thank them enough. Thank you to Amy and all the staff for making it a great success.

We would like to thank Amy her team for being able to accommodate our family at such a short notice. We contacted them the evening before, and even though they had a big event on, and the football, she was happy to fit all 14 of us in. The food was amazing and a great selection for vegetarians.

Really excellent food, caring, friendly and competent staff. Good pub, plenty of room and quiet part separated from noisy end. Well attended, seems a popular local.
