Take the two minute ferry to the community owned Isle of Ulva. The Boathouse Cafe greets you where you land. If the weather is fine you can eat outside with views of Ben More, watch white tailed eagles soar above and otters swimming.
This was such an authentic experience. Local ingredients beautifully prepared by people who really believe in what they are doing. The result is delicious food in stunningly beautiful surroundings. Totally recommend The Boathouse.
This place is amazing. Food was all locally sourced with fresh home made breads, salads and dressings. Langoustines come highly recommended. The ferry took around 2-3 minutes to get us there and we were made very welcome.
