The Brass Bear Delicatessen

Been there a handful of times and the sandwiches are ok. Pretty good ingredients but the bread options I have had I just haven’t cared for much which I think is a big deal for a sandwich place. It would get the job done if I went again but I would prefer if they had fresher tasting bread that was richer in texture and taste along with the options of toasting it. I like my sandwich with along of sauces too and even if I asked for extra I think the bread prevented it from tasting the way I like. Overall not a bad place whatsoever, but not my #1. Brass bear deli is my favorite place to get a sandwich love eating outdoors at there table out front of their shop in Alamo been going there for years never disappointed roast beef and American cheese with everything high quality deli it makes me want to have a sandwich from there just writing this hope you enjoy it as much as I do

1st time hear. LOVE IT!!!! A real family owned Deli. Very rare these days. I had the #1 Sandwich..Turkey on thick Delicious Rosemary focaccia. It was great. The place is very clean with huge selection of canned and bottled beverages. Also Beer and wine, also non alcohol beer and wine. A good selection of salads too.

I love their sandwiches, but I resent to have to yell my order at the top of my lungs everytime I order here. And then have to repeat my order again to the cashier, and to the cook.

Best sandwich there is in the Bay Area. I have been going here for 13 years and it never has disappointed, the shredded lettuce and Dutch crunch bread is highly recommended
