On our last day visiting family here in Albany they took us to this quaint yet large local restaurant. Besides being just a restaurant it supports individuals and a local organization that helps people with addictions.We started with the Cheesy Herb bread bowl which turned into a feeding frenzy after the first bite. The dipping sauce had a little heat.I got the BLT with candied bacon which I sat silently eating since the sandwich was so on point as were the fried cauliflower for my side.My wife got the French onion soup sandwich. The au-jus sauce was a wonderful addition to her entree. Our lunch companions enjoyed the Squash hunger protein grain bowl and the Mushroom swiss burger both winner...

My family always considers The Bread House and Granary our absolute FAVORITE restaurant in Albany and we always request to be seated wherever Janie is waiting on people as her service is Always on Point with gracious care and wonderful menu suggestions ! Thank You Janie ! I love the Cobb Salad. Make sure to leave room for the Bread Pudding for dessert. It’s Spectacularly delicious !
My friend and I dined here today, and it was fantastic. The service was excellent. The young man who seated us even pulled out our chairs and made sure we were comfortable. Our server, who I believe is named Derek, was outstanding and definitely enhanced our experience. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is lovely. We'll definitely be returning!

This restaurant has a lovely ambiance, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. However, I was disappointed with the food. I ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger, which the menu claimed would be topped with an abundance of lettuce, tomatoes, and onions—none of which I enjoy. This really affected my meal and overall experience. Food rating: 2/5.
Came here for lunch and had Janie as our server! She made such an unforgettable experience! Such a great and positive attitude! She was very attentive, kept our drinks full and plates cleared! She also made an excellent suggestion of the Sickerdoodles!!! The best server ever. We will visit it next time in the city!!!!

Server was amazing. Took over an hour to get our meal and it wasn't crowded at all. Chicken salad was room temperature and my wife's burger was cold. House chips were cold and soggy.Food: 3/5
