The Bread Peddler is a super busy, popular spot. I'm not exactly sure on how things work in there, it seems to be connected to a larger place. I went in and got on line, which was quite long. It's small and a little tight given the traffic present, likely that it might be best to go early. They have a case filled with pre-made sandwiches and the like. There is also an area with the baked goods. You order that stuff along with your coffee at the register. With that being said, some people were seated at the tables with menus and ordering food. Not quite sure how that operates. I had a sandwich, pastry and coffee, they were fine.

Damn fine classic French bakery! All the offerings here are done right and the owner is a treasure, a very kind man. He pays his staff fairly(I worked here briefly, sorry young me walked out on the dish pit Andre! The only possible complaint here is that sometimes the reheat items from the fridge(breakfast sandwich for example don’t get full hot inside.. I believe this team of top notch folks can rectify this with a little process tweak. Thanks for all the killer bread and coffee!

I’m impressed with their offerings here! Very good and big loaf of sourdough for $7 easily more than $15 for a small loaf where I’m from in Los Angeles) Enjoyed their gougères and croissants. Almond croissant is interesting… like a cross between a croissant and frangipane? Scrumptious nonetheless. Definitely go early! Things run out way before lunch hour

We got a few cookies and croissants. The baked goods are decent. The service was lacking. We waited at the counter for a while. I ordered a coffee which was made wrong and then I was told “well it (the ticket) didn’t say that” like I wrote the ticket myself and not a coworker. Overall, it’s a good spot if you’re already in the area. Book a table now

They excel at both sweet and savory baked goods. Breakfast at their restaurant is a great experience especially with some of their coffee and I always get something at their booth whenever I'm at the farmers market

Great food! It's a very busy place and the employees were pretty short when trying to order. Book a table now
