We were there on Sunday around 12 for brunch. Although it was written that brunch is served until 1:30, upon arrival we were being informed that they serve the brunch until 11/ 11:30!! So we had the choice from ‘lunch menu’. I got a plate of hamburger steak. They had a few options from the sides I got myself some turnip greens and sweet potato casserole. The hamburger steak was pretty decent, and the green erre usual. Sweet potato casserole was pretty ordinary, and the corn bread muffin was perfectly baked and nice. Just left this place after our first visit! Attentive and friendly service, and the food came very quickly after we ordered, not much of a wait at all. But the highlight of the experience was the food, which was absolutely amazing. The bacon was crispy to perfection, the cheese grits were flavorful, not bland at all, and the southwestern burrito was filling and delicious! My fiancee got the French toast and got a very generous serving! Really have nothing bad to say about this place at all!
Buffet style Blue Plate lunch. Food was fantastic and had plenty of time to eat and get back to work. Will be back soon!
This place has pretty good southern brunch, I am sad that this place is closing down.
