I visited this restaurant yesterday for a special Mother's Day afternoon tea and it was absolutely amazing. It was my first time here and I had made a reservation based on a recommendation. The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was perfect. It was very cozy and just what you would want in a tea room for a lovely, refined afternoon. My mother also adored it and was thrilled with the added personal touch of some flowers to take home as a special Mother's Day treat. It's truly the little things that make a big difference. I can't praise this place enough and I can't wait to return!
My sister and I had a lovely afternoon in their tea room today. The service was impeccable and the staff was welcoming, friendly, and engaging. We stumbled upon this charming hidden gem and I am grateful that we did. Our light lunch was delectable, followed by a cake and a glass of gin and rose lemonade in the perfect afternoon setting. It was my sister's birthday and the staff even surprised her with a candle on her cake and a rendition of "Happy Birthday". The gift shop had some lovely items and I ended up purchasing a handbag. We will definitely be returning very soon. x
We received an afternoon high tea voucher as a gift and finally had the opportunity to visit the tea rooms. We received a very warm welcome and our chosen tea was served promptly. The tiered stand filled with sandwiches, scones, clotted cream, jam, and a variety of small cakes was a delightful sight. Despite our initial doubts, we managed to finish everything and enjoyed every bite. The food was delicious and the staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. It was a lovely afternoon that we hope to experience again in the future.
I have visited this restaurant many times, as it was the top choice for my friends who wanted to try their highly recommended Afternoon Teas. Once again, the food selection was outstanding and served by delightful and accommodating staff who made our visit memorable and special. The tea options were excellent, allowing us to try new varieties, and the sandwiches, scones, and cakes were all delicious. We will definitely be returning soon.
