Amazing staff just unlucky Room On arrival the place was quiet and the Lady who greeted us was super lovely took interest in our vist to London. As we entered our Room it was lovely a combination of old and new interior was lovely to see, the bed was amazing just like most young hotels. That's about it from the positive side. The main issues we ran into with this Room was one evening my partner had a glass of wine that was on top of a bed side table, It was very strong but as she went to open the draw one of the wheels for the draw must of snap whilst opening. With that making the wine glass fall over and smash all over her clothes and floor. I cut 3 of my fingers trying to pick up the glass...
hotel undergoing renovation,so work in progress,staff excellent,manager nice chap......,travelling from the north everything is expensive,would never dream of coming down for holiday,only here for the football,off to Prague next month for four nights for the same price for two here......including flights !!! ,hope the hotel improves the menu.....not inspiring,and drinks expensive ,will never return to London unfortunatly
Have been to the pub several times in the last couple of months. There’s never any good wines and today I was told there wasn’t any white wine. They only sell nuts, have never got crisps in stock. The service today was awful! The GM needs to sort out her stock. I was told today that the GM doesn’t listen to the bar staff and won’t order any stock!
The rooms have just been re done. The showers not the most powerful. Quiet at night. The only let down was the breakfast. Mouldy fruit on offer. The coffee was okay. But for the price I'd stay again and just go elsewhere for breakfast . Dog friendly, no lifts to the upper floors.
