10 mins to be seated once arrived. No one asked us for drinks, or to indicate we have to order separately. Arrived 430.. asked about the menu “until 5pm” said I had to “hurry”, and proceeded to never come back so missed the slot for that menu. Conveniently…. Then straight away to be told what time we had to leave by ! (Common courtesy in most establishments and understood by ourselves, not nice being told what time to leave as soon as you sit down mind! Personal skills lacking, also when a member of the party rang up, very abrupt and rude on the phone. We only kept the reservation as it was for a birthday and didn’t want to change plans. The Bridge Inn is a beautiful old characterful building set in lovely surroundings with the river flowing right at the side. Both times we've visited recently the staff have offered a warm welcome and shown us to our table quickly. The menu is varied and reasonably priced. I can highly recommend the chicken and mushroom pie! It was fairly busy on the most recent visit but we didn't have to wait long to be served and the food came piping hot. Thank you, we will be back!
It was really nice, I loved the interior, the food and the customer service. I enjoyed my stay here I would definitely recommend. The music is really nice and classy. The staff even let my kids have custard even though it wasn't on the menu. Over all, this has been brilliant and amazing.
We’ve not been in for a couple of months due to ill health and holidays. As always we received a warm welcome, first class, friendly service and our relative, who was visiting for the first time, thought it was a lovely experience from start to finish.
