The Broadmoor is well worth the and a must see/ stay/ do and is one of those places where you can 't take it all in at once. Every inch of The Broadmoor is breathtaking in its Golden Age elegance, overlooking sparkling Cheyenne Lake. Highly recommend repeated stays! My family spent time here when I was a child, and I recently had the opportunity to return for the the first time in over 20 years. One of America’s last remaining “grand dame” hotels, with service to match. The room was larger than I expected with a lovely balcony and attractive, warm traditional decor. Every request was attended to promptly. The restaurants are unique and varied, and the landscape and natural beauty can’t be beaten. My only wish is that there was still an upscale dining option on property the stately Penrose Room remains closed, and staff were unsure whether it would ever reopen. At a resort of this caliber, it’s fun to put on a coat and tie one night and really “do it up”...
Tried desperately to spend thousands of dollars to have my wedding reception here and the staff is a complete nightmare. Chasity doesn’t show up to meetings and Danielle can’t respond to emails. It’s a shame they have such a stunning property with absolute horrendous staff. Needless to say with such poor communication we chose another 5 star destination. Good luck!
Whether you 're working here or staying here make sure you keep an eye on your stuff, because many of the employees are thieves. I used to work here as a security officer, the very first thing I was told was if there is anything you want to steal let me know because we have access to everything . Book a table now
Outstanding hotel. I have never seen grounds so pristine. The attention to detail was incredible. The rooms where not to my taste but nice all the same. If gotty curtains and a chandelier are your thing you will be in heaven.
Seems to be a really exclusive hotel, a bit highpriced for me with roomrates starting at 850$ per night. ; in summer.
Great hotel. Friendly staff. Beautiful decor and architecture. Cool spot to visit and walk off the pub food.
