I went to this restaurant for breakfast. The food was fantastic with a wide variety of delicious and unique options to choose from. However, the service was disappointing. I've received better service at Denny's! The host appeared disinterested and reluctantly seated us. My coffee cup was left empty twice, and I had to repeatedly ask for more creamer. I believe that good service should be provided regardless of the cost of the food. Just my two cents.
I went to this restaurant on a Tuesday morning and was seated on a beautifully decorated covered terrace. There was no wait and the staff was friendly. I was in desperate need of coffee, and they promptly filled my cup when I asked for more. The avocado toast with poached eggs had a light and healthy flavor, and the side of speck was crispy. I was as pleased with this place as I have been with any other in San Diego County.
On Father's Day, we decided to try The Broken Yolk. Despite being very busy, we only had to wait for 20 minutes instead of the initially quoted 45 minutes. The food was delicious and our server, Christine, was exceptional. The portions are very generous, enough to share between two people. Even ordering our own meals left us with leftovers. My family was very satisfied and we definitely plan on returning.
1st time at Broken Yolk was Fathers day. They were very busy but only waited 20 mins instead of orginally quoted time of 45 min. Food was very good our server Christine was even better. When you order, know there is enough food for 2 to eat from one plate. If you each order your own meal you will have keft overs. My family was pleased, we will be returning. Book a table now
I had higher expectations. I went to this restaurant on Saturday morning at 10am. It took about 25 minutes for us to be seated (there were four of us). The menu looked great with delicious food and drinks. However, the food lacked flavor and the service was slow. Considering the high prices and the wait time, I was left feeling disappointed.
the breakfast and the environment here is about par. honestly, my favorite evening place. the staff was very friendly and attentive. this place has a beautiful atmosphere. I can see why they have many great reviews.
The food was delicious, the coffee was amazing, the service was excellent, and the decor was beautiful and chic! I highly recommend this place and am happy to have found a new spot to enjoy.
