The pint of Wedderspoon in Wimbledon is disappointing. The tuna sandwich or soup burger is overpriced, especially when you can get a cheeseburger at McDonald's for a fraction of the cost. Some pubs charge ridiculous prices for burgers, which is confusing. The large house red wine was decent, but the portion of chips was minimal. The Britvic cranberry was fine. Overall, this place is overpriced for what you get. It feels like a tourist trap, as many places unfortunately are in tourist areas. With some strategic improvements, this place could become memorable with a little extra effort.
We’ve visited here a few times lately. On the last two occasions we’ve had a wonderful Sunday lunch. The old Buccaneer pub has had a complete makeover and the staff at the renamed Harbwr Brewery and pub have always been polite and welcoming and I’m...disappointed to see the negative reviews here. We’ll be back for another Sunday lunch soon.
My friends and I went to this restaurant to eat. It's a great place to escape the sun for a bit. They have a wide variety of food options. I really liked the three-bean chili and my partner had the chili con carne, both of which are gluten-free, which is a plus.
We spent several pleasant evenings here over Christmas. All the staff were friendly and the service was excellent. Thank you for an enjoyable time.
