The Bucks Head Inn

On arrival, our telephone reservation had not been entered in the book the young server didn't know what brands of cider they served and, after we had made our meal choices, we were told that we had been given the wrong menus.! It was a...long way back from that disastrous start but they made it. The food was delicious, each course tastefully presented and the cost for such a high grade meal was surprisingly low. Beautiful meal, perhaps a little more staff training required.

we enjoyed the most beautiful light dinner here in our old favorite the bucks head. it has been eaten here for many years, every time we walk in the mourning and as usual it was not disappointed! to begin the most beautiful brote with...tapenade we had oysters with a parmesan chest and gorgeous sweet potato friries, followed by a delicious apple crumb that served us all in the beautiful walled garden. absolute perfection!

My wife and I have eaten here many times and have never had a bad meal!! Usually have high tea but have also walked in and ordered a burger. We had an anniversary dinner which was fantastic! Our golfing friends come over and we insist...they eat here which they love as much as we do. Thank you staff for a great experience

Visited Northern Ireland from USA and had heard about Bucks Head Inn from others who frequent the area. Did not disappoint, food is of highest quality with local staples augmented with unique culinary fare. Staff was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.

Fabulous food. The baked “battered” oysters with apple black pudding were amazing. I also loved the vanilla panacotta with espresso soaked prunes. One of the finest meals I’ve had, will definitely be back.
