We came for a meal for my husbands birthday. We ordered and got told as it was Tues it was cheaper(about £5) that was a good point. Next the drinks cost more than the food....bad point. Meals came and straight away you could tell certain food was straight from the supermarket frozen...bad point. Both of us decided to come home without ordering desserts and it was a good job we did as my husband still has heartburn 3 hours later. Also the menus were all sticky and the staff were not friendly........It's a no go from us
This was a disappointing dining experience. The staff seemed indifferent to our patronage and the chef showed little regard for food presentation. I regret giving this restaurant a chance as the Vegan Soy burger I ordered looked sad on a large empty plate, accompanied by lukewarm nachos and lacking relish. The only condiment provided was ketchup. The overall appearance of the dish was unappetizing. The chips were also subpar. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant altogether.
what a sad eating. no care. they could not take care of their needs less, and the cook could not take care of the food presentation less. would have known better, but given them an attempt, and was quite destroyed. the vegan soy burger was a sad eating on a huge empty teller, with warm nachos and without relish etc., although there was a package ketchup! how a chef can bring such a sad looking teller into order is strange. oh and the chips are naff. Give him a miss.
visits the bullen now a few times and can say excellent eating and service from the renter and bar staff definitely recommend this place for a meal and atmosphere

Great pub, nice staff, good food, love it. We go in at least twice a month as we have a caravan. Near there. The food is fabulous, you have to try it.
I found the personal polite and helpful, eating is always excellent and nothing is too much annoying, keeping them the good service and thanks
