The Bull - Table reservation

Visited for lunch. 12:30 29/11/23 Table for 3 Signage told me to input the car registration on the screen in the bar. Both screens not working. Manager had to be found to get then up and running. Not a good start. The young lady behind the bar, we did not see smile once. She gave the impression, that she didn’t want to be there. No real friendly welcome at all. A really nice pub, with character. Menu basically standard “Brakes” type food, it felt centrally bought, with nothing made on site. Walked in just after 9pm to be told rather curtly by the staff that the pub was closed. Have been going to this pub regularly on Christmas Eve before attending Carol's and midnight mass at the local church for a pre service pint. I understand that the pub is having some staffing issues at the moment, but to be told rudely that the bar was closed was not required or professional. Service: 1

visits the bulle after a nice walk along the bridleway opposite. sat outside in the beer garden with my dog and family. I used the greeneking app to order 4 meal times and 4 drinks. they all came up without problems. the food was delicious and the staff was friendly. toilets were clean. it was exactly what we needed and we will be definitiw next time in otford again.

quite standard greene king pub. visited on a sunny weds midday. the personal was very friendly; nothing felt like too much annoying. the food was good. bier selection decent. very large garden with many tables. If I find myself in otford again, I'd be here again, not to ask.
