My friend Tina and I have visited The Bull more than 10 times in the past few months. After tonight's visit, we felt it was time to share our consistently positive experience with everyone. The staff is always friendly and the food is delicious. Tonight, I enjoyed chili con carne with rice, garlic bread, cheese, and sour cream, while my friend had fish on a bed of spinach with new potatoes. We pre booked a new venture and unfortunately we’re let down very badly as 6 out of 7 meals we’re not available. So we took the Bull by the horns and we’re not disappointed. We walked in with no booking and we’re warmly welcomed. They not only shuffled tables to fit us in but looked after us amazingly all night. We had a plethora of food all fantastic. Staff food and beer all awesome all future meals for us and our customers all sorted
The service at this restaurant was absolutely outstanding. We felt welcomed the moment we walked in. The bar staff were extremely helpful. The food was excellent, albeit a bit on the expensive side, but the high quality more than justified the price. We will definitely be returning in the future. It's regrettable that we didn't take any pictures as the presentation of the dishes was superb. The menu offered a nice variety of options.
We made an unplanned and sudden stop as I was needing an urgent driving break as I felt tired suddenly and it was a lovely surprise. The menu was fantastic and varied . I had the goats cheese Crostini ,which was absolutely great . I also had a great pot of tea. The food was well presented and represented good value . The restaurant was really attractively designed and the staff attentive and friendly. We will definately return.

2 ales and 3 lagers at bar. Brie was nice. Burrito was nice. Soup was the saltiest substance on the face of the earth. My mouth is still reeling as I write this. Landlord said “ we sell loads of it”. My husband sister and myself went for lunch and it was fantastic my sister is GF so opted for the grilled cod she said it was full of flavour and cooked to perfection I had scampi and chips the husband has gammon egg and chips. All the food was really really good very tasty. The Bull is a great pub and the staff were fab we will be back
I went to the restaurant tonight for quiz night (held every other Wednesday) and it was fantastic. We used iPads to submit our answers and had a lot of fun. The quiz master was great, the atmosphere was excellent, and I had a wonderful time. I will definitely be returning.
Lovely food and drinks, lovely helpful staff, nice pub. Only slight disappointment was what We felt was a slightly limited menu for a Saturday night with no steak choice but still good and enjoyed thanks.
