We had a great time dining at this restaurant. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious and served hot, and the overall ambiance was very relaxed. The only downside we found was that the prices were a bit high. While we would love to return more frequently, the cost is a little too pricey to dine here on a weekly basis. Overall, it's a great spot for a treat meal, but may not be affordable for regular visits.
Eating at this restaurant is alright, but I was disappointed when I ordered a pot of tea for 2 pounds and only received one and a half small cups worth. The pot wasn't even filled with hot water. I understand that tea can be expensive, but many other places offer a larger pot that can fill 2-3 cups, often accompanied by a cookie. I likely won't be returning to this restaurant.
I had a nice lunch today. the atmosphere was beautiful and I think it was recently updated what it felt comfortable. the service was friendly and prompt. the menu had a good choice and the prices were reasonable. I had the broken cod and chips that were delicious. the people I was with also enjoyed their meal. for 3 main courses and 3 drinks it came to about 35 £
We waited for over 15 minutes without even having our drink order taken. Meanwhile, a couple who had just arrived had their order taken right away. It didn't seem like the restaurant was understaffed, but having someone specifically designated to greet customers and direct them to their seats might have been more helpful if they also took drink orders.
