The service was quick and efficient. The menu was diverse and very affordably priced. We dining room and restroom were clean. The best thing was the food. Home cooking at its best. We chose the spinach chicken salad with an orange glaze dressing, and a Ruben sandwich with a side of onion rings. The salad was huge and very fresh. The Ruben had a smoky flavor paired with a tangy horseradish sauce served on rye bread. The onion rings were perfectly battered and crunchy and sweet onions. Definitely not frozen onion rings but homemade. Even the sweet tea was perfect. We almost didn't stop but decided to go in and check it out. So glad we did. A big thank you to my fellow reviewers for pointing us to this hidden gem! They had sold out of a few items, which is a good sign—I can only imagine how delicious those must have been! We tried the burgers, and they were juicy and well-seasoned (not too salty at all), served on toasted ciabatta rolls that were soft yet sturdy enough to hold the burger. We always go out to eat breakfast on the weekends and decided to try something new. Sure glad we did. My man has the steak and eggs. He said his steak was very juicy and had good flavor. He was unable to eat his biscuit and gravy cause he was too full, which is a miracle in itself. I had the bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, and a pancake. Everything was cooked perfectly I couldn't finish my plate either just so much food. The kitchen was a little slower than I'm used to, but if we were in a hurry we could have went to McDonald's. Worth the wait. Very very very good.
Indoor and outdoor seating! My husband asks for a burger that is not on the menu and it is fantastic! He has tried every burger on the menu. We are frequent customers of this place. I bounce around and try all kinds of things. The pecan crusted chicken salad is fantastic! And the banana desert with ice cream is, oh so good! You can try anything on the menu, you will never be dissapointed!

Charming little cafe nestled in the woods. I had breakfast there and it definitely met my expectations. The food was delicious, and the staff were wonderful. After your meal, you can take some time to explore the village.
Food was okay, service was very slow but there were a lot of customers. Learned the history of the place from a fellow customer. That's how long we waited.
Biscuits and Gravy were amazing! Bacon was perfect, kids said we should of ordered more. If you are in this area, it's a must try!
