The Carnarvon Arms

The Carnarvon helped us celebrate our small Christmas eve wedding. We was in the glass House area which was nice and private. The food was perfect and all our guests was happy and enjoyed what they had ordered. We opted for the Christmas fayre menu to keep it simple which had a decent choice on it for people who didn't want an actual Christmas dinner. The only mix up I had noticed is some people wanted custard and not cream on their puddings but it was sorted straight away with no fuss. This restaurant never fails to deliver. Great food, good selection of beer and lovely staff. Always a friendly atmosphere that never disappoints. Been several times and everything time seems better than the last. One of those places that makes you want to book again as soon as you leave.

Amazing food, not the cheapest as pub grub goes but certainly good value for money. A notch above average pub food. Servers friendly helpful and attentive without being. In your face. Great overall experience

I've been here a couple of times each visit the food didn't disappoint, amazing! Service fabulous and staff always welcoming and friendly... Definitely recommend and will be back again soon!

Love it here, the service is always friendly and welcoming and the food always tastes great. It's not cheap but nice for a treat once in a while.
