My brother, sister and I had three nights here very recently. We had a room each and had the bed and breakfast and dinner package which was a good option. All the rooms were lovely: clean, comfortable and quiet, with everything you need. The pub had a lovely atmosphere and staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was particularly nice. The evening meals were very good, too, although not quite as good a standard as the breakfast. We really enjoyed staying here and would heartily recommend the pub to others for meals and for a stay.
We really enjoyed our recent stay in the Carpenters Arms. The rooms are kept to a very good standard. There's nice touches like posh shower gel and expensive towels. The views from the bedrooms are of the pretty countryside. The Restaurant at the pub serves high quality food. The breakfast is also very impressive. The Staff working behind the bar are very welcoming and make you feel at home. All in all a very nice stay
I stayed her on 1 July 23 after attending my cousin's hand fasting ceremony in the stone circle and wedding celebration. Absolutely gorgeous room. I was in number 10. Beautifully tastefully decorated, immaculately clean with everything you could need. Highly recommended. Didn't have breakfast as I had prebooked two course Sunday lunch which was delicious. Staff were all helpful and positive.
This restaurant is a wonderful spot to gather and dine, but the menu could use some updating since it has remained the same for years. However, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is charming, with the added bonus of being dog-friendly. We don't frequent this place as often as we used to because we have grown tired of the menu.

Visited last night Saturday), with friends that live locally. Beautiful building decor and ambiance. Friendly staff and amazing food. Prices have gone up everywhere however the mains in particular are good value for money, substantial and Delicious. Definitely would recommend this eatery.
This charming British countryside pub has a lovely atmosphere. The staff are excellent and very attentive, although the food can be slow to arrive, the wait is usually worth it. However, the Sunday roasts taste like they have been reheated and the potatoes are very disappointing.
We spent two nights at this establishment and had dinner here on the first evening. The rooms were lovely, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were delicious.
Excellent service from friendly staff. Stayed here for a local wedding. Great rooms, clean and tidy. Very comfy bed! Would recommend this place. So peaceful and quiet.
