The service at the restaurant was excellent and extremely accommodating. Unfortunately, the food left much to be desired. The mussels were underseasoned, and the bacon was nearly raw. The fried chicken sandwich was overloaded with pickled onions, and the salad turned out to be the highlight of the meal. The tagliatelle was incredibly bland, also lacking in salt, and the olives tasted like they came straight from a can. The ricotta had the texture of cream cheese, and the pasta was overcooked. The only reason I’m giving it three stars is because of the wonderful service and friendly staff.
If you're looking to have your dinner served in under an hour, I recommend going to Domino's across the street or one of the nearby restaurants. The drinks were mediocre, and we were nearly ready to leave due to the long wait for our two pasta dishes. Don't set your expectations too high here, as the portion sizes and drink quality leave much to be desired, and they struggled to make amends after we waited over an hour. The gnocchi was decent, but the tagliatelle was lacking the promised pesto sauce. In situations like this, it’s usually a standard expectation.

I went there twice weekday brunch time ordering exactly the same thing. A simple bacon cheeseburger. For some reasons on both times, no bacon showed up. I had to mention that to the server as clearly they did not even notice and that brings to the first point. The service or the lack of it. On both occasions the place was not busy at all. Love this place, definitely cute date spot! Have been a customer since 2011. Their drinks, wine list and coffee are delicious. The vibe and decor are lovely. Service and food haven?t been consistent over the years, so this is why it?s 4 stars. During all my visits here over the last 12 months food has been great and consistent with quality. Service does luck sometimes, but nobody is perfect. ????
Great food, fair prices, excellent wine, and friendly service. The outdoor seating area is lovely, though the front can get a bit noisy since it's located on Cortelyou. This is one of the many places I've found after leaving Hamilton's, which I left due to the uncommonly rude female owner. I plan to return with a friend on Thursday. Don't miss the fried okra!
My favorite place for pasta cocktails. Absolutely recommend Spring Tagliatelle with chicken, mushrooms and ricotta that?s the reason why I will return again and again. Plus in my personal top potato tots with cheddar cheese and chives (I even tried to cook it at home). Cocktails are tasty and quality. Very good place, recommend it!
Their drip coffee is not one to scream home about, I will however say, the service (quite friendly) and ambience is really cozy. I marked it as a place to go and chill or mentally recuperate. They also seem to have a back outdoor patio, however, was too cold to venture there.
