visited the cellar door for our jubilee. the cellar door offers a vegan option for every cursor. they have another lunch and dinner menu. I asked in advance whether we had one of the lunchtime starters, one of the dinner menu starters, and the same for both main and dessert and they were very accommodating. no one wants to have the same as their partner for everyone. at the arrival they knew that we had pre-ordered that the brot came with oil instead of butter, which made us realize that they were well accommodated for us. the wee were clearly listed as vegan. they will change their menus monthly so that eating will be different, but I wanted to check every plate. curs on curs through yukon...

I absolutely loved this place. the dining room is quiet and slightly filled, but still cozy, with a roof terrace that has a magnificent view over the river. the staff is super friendly and the food is blended with great pleasure and tastes fabulous. I love all the vegan junk food options out there, but I miss really fine restaurants as a vegan. there are great choices on the a la carte menu, but I went for the great lunch menu, that is 3 courses for £24 or 2 for £20. I had the brokkoli and vegan feta pea with stolen hispi and hazelnuts. disappointed I didn't get a picture, but it was so good that I totally forgot it. afterwards it was vegan sticky toffe pudding with treacle sauce and the mos...

This is a special place, found down a rather unassuming staircase! Lovely decor and a view of the river and footbridge. There are outdoor tables for fine weather days. The set-price lunch menu had four choices for each course (there was also an a la carte menu). Everything came out looking beautiful, on hot plates, served by friendly staff. I ate alone but was made to feel comfortable and welcome. It is lovely to find chefs who ensure there are vegan choices but use imagination and flair to create unusual taste combinations. I was really impressed. I have attached a photo of each of my courses, with details. The coffee was also excellent!

there is a vegan starter, head and dessert on the menu. It is a small menu that changes every month. eating was amazing and like nothing I had before. really impressive and apparently made with all locally produced ingredients. it is not her usual menu and it was good to try something completely different. I would highly recommend! the cocktails are also really good.
