This place is not to be missed. The service is phenomenal. The food is creative and delicious. If you can get a seat on the patio, make sure to make reservations,. We just strolled in without reservations and it was an hour and a half wait for patio seating with that great view of the Grand River. So we sat inside, which was fine as it was getting cool and we were out of the wind. Turns out everybody had to come inside because a storm rolled in anyway. I had the prime rib special and hubs had the stuffed chicken special. Both were delicious. The appetizer; Wild Mushroom Crostini is not to be missed. Delicious. We will definitely be back in we are in the area again.
Stopped in for dinner beware an Elora Singers concert. Service was slow as a result but OK. they could have added one more server for the evening. Food was average. My wife's Chicken Parmesan was far far too thick. Clearly it had not been pounded don to the appropriate thickness. I ordered the Basa fish (never heard of it before) but have subsequently learned that it is essentially a cat fish that is not recommended for eating.Wanted to order the Calamari but told they don't include the tentacles (the best bits). Hmm.Soon, absolutely a great place for a patio drink. Dinner, not so much.. That said, $110 for two wth tip is dirt cheap.
First off, if you are going for lunch of dinner I highly recommend making a reservation as it fills up quickly. Located down by the river with outdoor and indoor seating, it is relatively small. The menu isn't large but has the staples (I was there for lunch so don't know if there is a dinner menu.) The food came quickly and was very taste. The portion sizes are not huge, but are big enough for the average eater. They also have a nice craft beer selection. With the sun shining, being down by the river, with great food, you do pay a bit of a premium in pricing but just in my opinion its worth it.
We live in Elora.. and had not been to this Restaurant for some time.. so it was a last minute decision... no reservation, we just walked in. Because of the beautiful weather the outdoor patio was busy.... but we got a nice table. Menu is small, but very interesting, very reasonably priced... Service was very good, very attentive. The Calamari app a great sized porrtion, tasty... and then I had all you can eat Mussels 3 different style. My wife had the Calamari with me.. and had the Chicken Parmesan... both of us loved our dinner! Book a table now
This is a small restaurant with a beautiful patio. In nice weather the patio is the place to be and has one of the best views of the Grand River in town. The owner and staff are great! Service is taken very seriously here, but the pace is relaxed. For those with fussy eaters there is something for everyone on their menu. They are extremely good about food allergies as well.
Went to Elora for a day trip, and got a prime outdoor patio seat with gorgeous views of the water. service however was abysmal - very slow and clearly understaffed. food was average, drinks were cold, and waterside views were the main draw. Recommend walking up the road a bit to Elora Brewery instead.
We sat outside on the patio, the patio backs onto the river, our table had an umbrella, and a musician was playing. The one downside were the chairs. Not comfortable. Oh, and a second downside - the big fat spider web right beside our table. Service very good. Food very good. Wine is pricey
We had a delicious lunch consisting of Pad Thai and fish and chips along with some wine. Our meals were delicious and the service good. Our table was on the upper deck but any table on their large waterside deck would be wonderful. A relaxing, pretty spot for lunch or dinner by the river! Book a table now
Great, quaint evening out. If it is nice sitting on the patio is nice. Food is pricey but fantastic. Restaurant seating is minimal so if you want to sit inside I would suggest making reservations.
