Went out for a meal with my wife on a quiet Tuesday evening. The table was booked for and we were the only people ordering food, so we expected it to be of good quality. How wrong were we. I ordered the ultimate chicken...combo which was ment to come with different types of chicken, corn on the cob, grilled tomato, onion rings and chips. What turned up was a slice if dry chicken, chicken nuggets and chips. When i complained the waitress went off and they came back with another piece of chicken which looked like it has done rounds with Frank Bruno. Still no onion rings, corn on the cob or tomato. Went for an evening meal on Thursday the of September. My wife had hunters chicken which she said was ok. I had sirloin steak. It was supposed to be an steak but it was very small and I doubt that it was I asked for it to be cooked medium rare. It was cremated on the outside and cooked to medium well. It was also full of gristle. It was served with fries, only the weren’t fried, they were oven chips! It came with half a tomato and a quarter of a portobello mushroom. Now I know it wasn’t expensive but you should be striving for far better than this! I’m afraid I won’t be eating there again!!!
We decided to go out for lunch chose to go here. We were not disappointed although there app needs some attention to order food drink. The waitress EMILY ? was more than helpful could not fault her patients as we had with us for pensioner meals.The food though was worth the effort, I can recommend the Slow roast steak. Thank you

Hired the function room on Friday for a wake, service was amazing. Connor booked it all in for us and was our server on the day, he is so polite and helpful! Food was amazing, would normally be a buffet, but was table service due...to COVID, still plenty to go around and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.
what good night, the band radio collective, where great the music was fantastic, with really amazing atmosphere, well worth the for the ticket, the fabulous buffet, hopefully it happens again this year, well done donna and team, the drinks constantly flow for everyone, the best night we had. in a long time, thank you!
Always loved coming to this pub, used to be some happy staff in this place they were all misrable,Went for my sons birthday and the service was a disgrace, waited for our drinks to be brought to the table, Our desserts came out...without them clearing up our plates from dinner, wont be going back
False Adverting venue, its clearly Advertised as Live sport big screen.. ??? Big screen Not available and they are not allowed to have volume turned on small screen tv for the football.. Been a loyal customer here for over years but time...For a change.. Avoid if your a sports fan !!
