Terrible service! We had booked a table online a few weeks back for last night at 7.45, we arrived at 7.50 (running late due to transport) when we arrived we stood for 5 to 10 mins before being acknowledged. When someone came to ask us our name etc we were told that the kitchen may be closed, even though our table was booked. A staff member went to check and came back and said yes, sorry the kitchen is closed, the chefs are going home. I understand we were 5 mins late, but in no way were we going to have orders taken and food out by 8 pm, so how the kitchen was closed and the chefs away, I can't understand! So disappointed! Went today for fathers day. Heard great reviews about the Chelsea so booked it for the special occasion. Wow I was shocked, table service was awful, was looking forward to 3 course meal, couldnt even order a desert as noone came near our table the whole time and I had to go up and ask for the bill. I will never be back and will never recommend this place. Everywhere I go I tip, this is the first place we're I have not tipped.
First and last impression, is simply that the Chelsea is an exceptional venue for a private party ! Last Friday in April we through a retirement party for a colleague and the staff, setting and food were exceptional. Prosecco reception really set the scene in a relaxed sheek environment ! Real hidden gem
Actually, not my kind of cash, but I can't mistake the place. the personal is attentive, even though we are sitting outside. the inner of the place is aesthetically appealing, especially the bar. not bad for a pint.
