Chelsea Rd Deli came under new management in January. It is now run by Giuseppe, with the excellent Kerry still there to assist. The atmosphere, standard of service and range of food available immediately improved. Then came the lockdown, Giuseppe quickly adapted to a takeaway...service, and the deli has gone from strength to strength. In this hot weather iced lattes are excellent, but he does a fine cuppa too. Filled baguettes are mouth watering and made to order. There are some lovely Italian delicacies and food to eat in is fresh and well presented. Hygiene rules are well maintained, and service is friendly and welcoming. And all this when Giuseppe is just 19 years old. He is a fine young...
My partner and I moved to Newbridge during Lockdown and found Guiseppe's friendly attitude and a good choice of products to be a really warm welcome to the neighborhood. We understood from our friends that the deli had been underwhelming before new management took over...but we have had nothing but positive experiences here so far and imagine things will improve even more once Lockdown is over! The produce on offer is either traditional Italian fare (good quality tinned tomatoes are worth picking up), or locally sourced goods such as Bath Soft Cheese Co and Shepton Mallet dairy. We're yet to sit in to dine but I'm sure we will be doing so as soon as we're allowed.
Someone call the bomb squad!.... this place is guilty of causing an outstanding taste explosion in my mouth! I seriously enjoyed every mouth full of food. Every item cooked to perfection. I guess I should explain that I had the full English and a cup...of tea. You definitely get what you pay for and this worth every penny. All high quality products and dam those tomatoes were delicious..... and I don't really like tomatoes.... unless they were mashed up and used on a base for a pizza
after an appointment at rest someone has gone out. my second visit to a few weeks. the attentive employees thought that my sandwich order was taken from the waiting queue while I waited to order my coffee. excellent haferlatte and my sandwich on...coming was filled in the freshest broth with the cannons. I can't praise this deli enough

Such lovely service today and lovely options to eat. We ordered two full English breakfasts, one without an egg (which went on my plate) without tomato which was substituted for beans and extra bacon. Also ordered two english cups of tea. Absolutely delicious and great...value for money. It also smelt amazing! Cannot recommend anymore!
Very welcoming, it was an extremely hot day and the owner immediately brought out bowl of water for our dog. We sat outside in the shade and were served quickly, the food and drink was very tasty, as well as good value for money. We...thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and we felt a bit like we were on holiday for an hour thank you!
my wife and I came to the chelsea road to eat something because it was the lunchtime and we didn't want to go to the central bath and pay banes high parking fees. we found this place and were thrilled with the food we even bought...more to take for our tee!
Great spot for coffee and lunch. Great service and delicious choice of freshly prepared food such as baguettes, paninis, pies, salads, jacket potatoes and cakes. Also stocks lots of Italian foods, local ham and cheese counter etc.

the quality of the foods served and sold in this deli is excellent. the personal is nice people. I often use this load and would advise everyone in the opposite to visit it.
