What’s the chances!!! Popped in for a pint after driving the Edale loop with family. Only had one frothy Blonde but enjoyed the old pub and the staff were friendly. Realised when we got home that we had been in the pub before when we stayed many years ago at a nearby hotel. Didn’t even recognise the area but I know we had been out walking and got completely drenched about 20 years ago and stumbled across this pub. I remember the pint was good then!! Excellent stop over no matter what the circumstances. Has stood the test of time (well ours anyway!

Went to this restaurant with my friends for Sunday lunch. I decided to have the turkey with all the traditional sides and it was delicious. The food was made with high quality ingredients and cooked perfectly. The bartender and all the staff were very friendly. The restaurant is a charming and historic pub with a lot of character. If you prefer quick service, this may not be the place for you, but if you enjoy a more leisurely dining experience with time to chat, then this is the perfect spot. I definitely plan on coming back.

This bustling pub is popular, so it's best to make a reservation. However, we were fortunate to snag a table for two as walk-ins. They have a great variety of drinks and a diverse menu with tasty options. The food was cooked to perfection, served promptly, and the staff were all warm and hospitable. It's a great spot to refuel after a day of hiking or to fuel up for the next adventure.

I believe this is the best pub in the area. It is a traditional, cozy pub located a 5-minute walk from the Hope Centre. We were greeted with a warm welcome and our three meals were fantastic. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.
