Ate here on Father’s Day and was really impressed with the range of vegan options. There is a separate vegan menu and loads to choose from. I had the mixed grill which was a decent size and tasty. Was great that 90% of the deserts were vegan so when my daughter couldn’t eat her ice cream I could finish it off! it is a good thing that we plan nothing for the rest of the day after our meal. I had to lie down! I can't remember the last time we ate so much! the restraint was out of the window as it was the birthday of our friend. the pub was so welcoming and cozy on this grey rainy day. the service was very good. our red wine was beautiful and we could not harm the food. a warm and hygge place! we booked in advance.
we eat regularly at the chester arms. the vegan menu is great so they never need compromise. the vegan options are well thought out, instead of the lazy options they get at some places. we are always welcome and have introduced many of our friends and family to the chester arms. it is a shame that the app does not allow me to stare it 5 because it deserves all 5!
a great place that offers thought and effort in its vegan options, instead of just a burger or the ubiquitous sweet potato and cherry curry. many options for all courses, always my first intermediate landing for a nice pub meal.

Incredible choice of vegan food. I had the vegan garlic mushroom kiev which was amazing. Also tried the vegan cod and chips which was delicious. Very friendly staff, who are very knowledgeable on the vegan menu.
If you ever see a free table, grab it - it's always packed, and with good reason :) Really good tapas that are fairly priced - I went with my flatmate Matt
