Helena and Vikki's restaurant is definitely worth trying out - the atmosphere of this place is super casual (ground floor of the Civic hotel on Pitt St), with an open kitchen & pub feel.. however the food is certainly a lot higher than the average pub meal - it was damn delicious!! It's Greek food with a Modern Aussie twist, and served by the lovely Vikki who was full of smiles, we enjoyed our evening here so much. I went here with a small group of 4 on a Monday night, and we ordered the pickled octopus jar ($10), Spatchcock ($24), Pork Belly ($22) and marinated Octopus ($24). Everything was sooooo good, especially the pickled octopus which we finished quite quickly, and the pork...

Went here a few weeks ago. Only thing I would suggest is to have more signage outside and inside. Being inside the actual pub gives it a nice casual feel (but would prefer a more closed off section like the restaurant above). We saw the girls in action and one of them (I think it was Helena) came over to ask how the meals were. It's great to see they come out and talk to customers for feedback. We had the squid, pork belly & spatchcock. All tasted fantastic, the pork was cooked to perfection with a great crunchy skin and the cabbage complimented the pork well. Spatchock was lovely and juicy and the tzatziki and pita bread tasted fantastic with it (I wonder if they make the pita bread the...
This is no longer called Two Fold as the MKR twins have left & the menu is now designed by chef David Tsikaris. Its still a Greek influenced classic pub menu with a good selection of dishes from the smaller plates & main sections. Food is made well & portions are generous. The tarama dip had a nice textre but seemed overly salty but the accompanying pita bread is lovely & soft & served warm. Spanakopita was the biggest let down & was soggy & flavourless. The chicken souvlaki sliders (served on puta bread instead of a bun) was the highlight with 4 tender, well flavoured chicken skewers served with charred onions, sauce & warm pita. Chicken parmigiana is given a...
I'm glad I came here for lunch when my pork belly was delicious! Tender pork with beautiful crackling. My friend had her Moussaka, and she said it's the best thing she had tried in Sydney! Grief Grief I love to see the famous twins in the kitchen, and the place was packed, which made the noise level very high and hardened up, but the food was so good, I have to come back to give her pork again! Since the previous rating has said, this is a pub type of restaurant. So it is good for a casual eating names or groups. It is Greek / Australia Fusion and very solid food. Most dishes I have tried are great and cheap. I recommend the lamb rib, a bit greasy, but it is great. I also recommend the dessert too. Grief Grief The menu updates every few months.
Go to a bar layout and order at the counter. Sitting in high-hobby tables they eat with bar style. Grief But instead, you get stuff like roast of pork belly with very crisp crackles and a few crazy desserts that you usually do not expect from places.
This place is a loud pub, so do not go here if you want an dinner with your lover. But if you just want a great meal and do not want to talk too much, then definitely go here. Food is great. I warmly recommend all desserts and the creepy.
Great food! Everything we ordered was phenomenal from Saganaki to Kingfish and pork belly. Yum. It was a Saturday night and a shame that we were the only ones who were there! Book a table now
A bit pricey when it comes to drinks, but this is not your average pub: - The art deco street level bar is pretty awesome, with sofas and long tables with

"I was satisfied with the food. Burgers are between $14.90 and $15.90. The drinks are more expensive than other places, and the free Wi-Fi is slow and stops working intermittently."
