had nice meal deal 2 steaks for £25 including bottle wein that we did not want, so exchanged it for two softdrinks. the place was busy and the steaks were really good. they would recommend it. if they don't want the Steak meal that is on Thursday, then the menu is extensive, so try something else. x
We visited a couple of times while staying in the area, great pub with a good selection of drinks and a food menu with some usual pub food and something a bit different too. Family and dog friendly inside and out. Dog bowl and fresh water provided on arrival too.
Popped in for lunch after an early morning walk around Dovestone reservoir, not many customers at this hour but a decent menu served by friendly staff. The rag pudding went down well with a pint of lager!
