Me and my partner went to The Coconut Tree for our monthly date night. It was our first fully vegan restaurant experience. My partner is not vegan and I asked if he was going to eat meat and he said he didn’t want to, he was there for the experience to see if the food we make at home is as nice as restaurant vegan food. I had a great dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and well-seasoned with plenty of vegan options that were very tasty and fresh. The curries, especially the pumpkin curry, were amazing and very creamy. The battered mushrooms were also fantastic. However, the star of the show was the kotthu, my favorite dish that I order every time. It was well-spiced and incredibly tasty. Overall, the food was really good, although it's a shame that the restaurant is not fully vegan. The drinks were also good.
eating here is good with some vegan options via the menu. I especially liked the pumpkin and potato dishes I ordered. the main thing is that we felt very hastened by the workers; it is a popular restaurant, but they are only allowed to stay for an hour and a half, which means that they do not really get to eat the tapas style in a relaxed way.
Great variety of tasty vegan Sri Lankan street food. Started with the Hopper very good! Loved the cashew curry dish, mushrooms, both the vegan rice dishes great. All very good!

Good variety of decent vegan food. As a PSA, I’d get at least 2 curries to make sure you’ve got plenty of sauce for all your other dishes
