During our vacation, we were searching for a dining spot between Boston and Providence. Being from Iowa, we decided to try the Colonial House Restaurant, and I'm so glad we did! Although it's somewhat tucked away from the main route, it was completely worth it! Our waitress was outstanding—she was incredibly friendly and attentive, making our experience even better. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lively and inviting. We can't express enough how much we enjoyed our visit. Thank you, Colonial House, for your warm hospitality! We will definitely return the next time we're on the East Coast!

This restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and feels like a cozy neighborhood spot. The patrons are friendly, and the food is exceptional. We enjoyed the broiled swordfish and mashed butternut squash, and we also tried the calamari as an appetizer. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Just a tip: it’s wise to bring a small car, as parking can be a bit limited in the back. Keep in mind that it’s located in a residential area, not on a main street. Overall, a delightful dining experience for dinner!
**Service: 4/5** The service was quite good, with attentive staff who were friendly and responsive throughout our visit. **Atmosphere: 4/5** The ambiance was pleasant and inviting, creating a comfortable environment to enjoy our meal. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience!
Our waitress was exceptionally friendly, and the food was delicious. The restaurant is quite small, but they offer keno and serve some really good bar pizza. It's a lovely spot for family outings, and it typically draws an older crowd. Book a table now
This is a family-friendly restaurant with a warm atmosphere and delicious food. I ordered the fish and chips, which were served piping hot and crispy. As for the desserts...
Absolutely loved this place a little off the beaten path but that's a good thing....everything was fantastic! Great cozy atmosphere, food and service... highly recommend.
Food was excellent with good size portions. Staff was very friendly. Off the beaten path in a quiet neighborhood.
