Our stay at Taconic Inn allowed us to dine at Copper Grill twice. Both dinner and breakfast on the veranda provided stunning views of the mountains. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. The chef's creations were top-notch, especially the house specials like the charcuterie board with local cheese, meats, and homemade jam. Our main dishes, shrimp and grits and chicken breast, were both excellent. The eggs benedict for breakfast were also superb. Overall, we couldn't find any fault with any of the options on the menu!
The Copper Grouse is one of the nicest restaurants in Manchester. The restaurant is located within the Kimpton Taconic and is absolutely beautiful inside. We've had breakfast and dinner here many times, and like how the menu is unique to Vermont cuisine. They do a fantastic job at changing it around frequently as well. The food has always been outstanding, the dozen or so times that we have eaten here. Needless to say, we'd highly recommend the Copper Grouse!
Fantastic location in the center of a quaint Ski town. Modern victorian tavern vibes with a menu crafted with vast local ingredients. The “Wagyu” Ribeye sourced in Vermont was lacking marbling throughout the muscle, but had large veins of fat true to the ribeye cut. The rosemary garlic compound butter in which it was dressed with overpowered the cut itself. Price per person: $50–100

we were for a night in the taconic hotel on the way through new england and decided to eat in the copper grouse. we started with the fries that were delicious. our entrees on the recommendation of the chef dusty. garnel and grits and the mushroom paste amazing! I would definitely recommend this place. it was a nice and well-founded in some.
