Just dropped in for a cream tea. We had the savoury option. The scone was very fresh and tasty with two portions of butter each a nice piece of cheddar cheese and a lovely pineapple and onion pickle. Enough tea for three cups. Service was good and we were made to feel welcome even with our very loud little grandson. The coffee was excellent. Seating well spaced out so did not feel crowded. All in all very good and not too expensive.
Visited for lunch only and really impressed by the savoury options, including two daily specials. Really well cooked and well flavoured. Was so impressed we had to stay to try dessert apple pie, cooked and served exactly as I asked. Service was very quick and friendly. Will come back. On site parking was a bonus.
since 21 years, there have been a group of flying fishers connected with blood and before. would not be anywhere else than we are now part of the city!
