The consecutive year we’ve been to The copper mine Crook as a family of The meal, service and staff were all outstanding. We eat fairly regularly at the Copper Mine and are always well satisfied, especially our gluten-free friend, but tonight the food was outstanding. My prawns were delicious followed by apricot and honey belly pork which could honestly hold up its head in any restaurant, anywhere....All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. As usual the staff were friendly and efficient. Thanks. We'll be back soon! By the way, the lady's powder room is lovely!
Visited The Copper Mine last Saturday on our way home from Durham. We ordered mains beer battered fish chips, homemade steak pie and chicken souvlaki plus one of the group had a chocolate fudge cake. All of the dishes were well presented...and very tasty. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was good and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend and hope to visit again when next in the area.
