We love the counter. We lived in the bay for five years and we would usually go to San Mateo. We drove to see friends, and so we stopped here to eat on the way up. The food was really good and the servers were very friendly first. Our food came out immediately and was hot that we had nothing to do with it. The reason I give this place three stars is to go a milkshake at the end of my wife. The milkshake wasn't even full in the cup. And it wasn't even the right thing. The server even knows they did something wrong with it. So he asked if he could come back. He came back and said the bartender won? Then I asked him if he would complicate it. It was just something that could? ve was avoided.
I cannot owe the portions of food and the price of this very reasonable. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the place where you arrive, and the first thing that meets you is the sticky ground. They have a terrace to eat, but it is not very desirable to sit on the dirty and old furniture scattered by passing the years. I mean, if you want to take someone and impress, it's not the most beautiful place to go, but if you just want to go, it's not bad.
Worst Burger experience ever. It was a completely different experience. You add a 20% service fee to be able to pay the workers a living wage, which means they "suck it" and asked for a tip when you feel it. I couldn't believe how bad it was. Don't go to this. Bad food, bad service, greedy beyond faith. Didn't even get pommes and it was $30! McD would have been $12 for everything, and it's much better to eat.
My first time at the counter today and I ordered the counter burger! THIS IS NOW MY NEW FAVORITE BURGER PLACE!!!!!! We ordered it to go and it WAS NOT even soggy! The onion crisps were super crispy!!! I usually go to The Habit and In n out burger, but the counter is WAY BETTER!!! I will definitely be back again!!!! Thank you so much for the yummy lunch today!!!
