I was extremely disappointed with this restaurant, especially given all the positive reviews. To sum it up, the food was terrible and the service didn’t help redeem the experience. Our server vanished halfway through our meal and seemed confused about even the most basic menu items. That might have been bearable if the food were decent, but unfortunately it was not. The pancakes were flat and dry, and no amount of syrup or butter could make them palatable. This recommendation from Odd Provisions did not disappoint. It was a beautiful day, friendly staff and great food. The Fried Green Tomatoes were perfect......nice crisp crust and a thick, firm slice. I didn 't even miss the sauce, the topping was light and fresh. The Shrimp Grits were very good, just enough spice against those creamy, cheesy grits. The Veggie burger was a big hit and very filling. My mom said finally a burger that wasn 't all starch or just straight 'shrooms , lol, and very filling. Looking towards the next visit.
Great for gluten free vegans!!!! menu is well-marked and there are multiple items for folks living (eating) at the intersection of GF& vegan. however, DO NOT order the “smoothie bowl” i immediately wanted to send it back (but i would never cuz that’s crazy, ab as crazy as this review). the smoothie bowl is liquidy-soupy like a drinking a drink with a spoon and it comes in a mug. coupe, yall need to rethink that one or remove it. i rlly regretted ordering it and i usually LOVE smoothie bowls.Dietary restrictions: gluten free, vegan

The coffee is just average considering the prices they charge, and the food is so bland and forgettable that I can hardly recall what I ordered during my visit. It definitely fits into the category of mediocre establishments that gain popularity solely based on their 'aesthetic,' which is far too common in DC. I would recommend steering clear of this place.

I came to this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon based on my friends' recommendation. They had been here before, and they were right - the parking was a nightmare! Street parking was hard to come by.
The food is great and the staff is friendly, but it can get really cold inside sometimes. It may seem like a minor issue, but it can definitely put a damper on a romantic date.
Fun place for brunch. Good vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. It can take a long time for food to arrive because it's so busy, but once it gets served, it's very good!

I recently visited The Coupe and found it to be a great spot for teleworking and relaxing. The food was delicious and the customer service was excellent.
