the cream chimneys is my place to lunch when I visit kelso. my border colony is as welcome as I, and the food and service excellent. resident dog piper, with her 'do not feed me' bandana, is a hoot, especially if she tries to slander all her slander on customers in the hope of a leak! 100 Recommend
I stopped by briefly to grab a hot drink to warm up. The mocha was excellent and the service from Piper was very friendly. She even offered to make me a custom drink. I also noticed they have dog-friendly options available.
The tea room was very pleasant and clean with courteous and friendly staff. The menu was good, although somewhat limited. Overall, I would definitely recommend it.
The staff is fantastic, and it's always a pleasure to visit this restaurant. The food is top-notch, especially the citrus scones. Definitely worth checking out.
