I loved this hotel. It was very quirky, filled with art and ornaments and clutter, with wonderful views across the loch. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The hotel was very clean and it had a cared-for feel to it. There were vases of fresh flowers in every room. Our room was a good size. There was a tray set for tea, and we could get a jug of fresh milk from reception. There was extra bedding in the wardrobe and dressing gowns, and the bed was very comfy. The walls are adorned with the artwork of Frances MacDonald and her son Ross Ryan, adding to the unique atmosphere. The rooms and guest lounges are decorated in a subtle country style. We stayed in a room on the top floor with a terrace, offering stunning views of the canal and the sea loch. We enjoyed delicious breakfast and dinner at the hotel during our stay, with a great selection of local se...

Nice big bed and decent-sized room with a wonderful view from the bay window. The staff were very friendly particularly in the Seafood Bar restaurant and at breakfast. We enjoyed watching the boats pass through the canal lock. Some of the decoration would do with being refreshed. Our shower also leaked on to the floor.

This restaurant is truly genuine. They offer a fantastic local catch for breakfast and have a lovely saloon bar adorned with historic images. The restaurant is also home to a famous resident artist and gallery. What more could you want? Not to mention the perfect view of the famous Crinan Canal Basin. Book a table now

We had lunch in the seafood bar, excellent service and great food as always, we always make a point of eating here when in the area. We will be back...the langoustines are excellent. Nice walk along the canal afterwards.

Our stay was very pleasant at the Crinan Hotel. Hotel spotlessly clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food utterly amazing. Only comment needs upgrading here and there but would not put me off from returning.
