We ordered the mixed Sunday roast for two, and the server suggested we skip a starter, assuring us that the portions would be quite large. She was absolutely right! The food arrived promptly and truly exceeded our expectations. I’m a big fan of roast dinners, and I usually find that places sell out by the afternoon. However, we dined at 6:30, and there were still plenty of meats available. Our waitress was fantastic, and I regret not catching her name. She even came to my rescue when a huge spider was dangling from the ceiling—bonus points for keeping calm while I freaked out!
We have never been before but will definitely going again. Lovely old fashioned place with a great ambience. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were just right. We were served by Aaron who is absolutely brilliant- he has a smile that could light up the world and a great personality too...we will be back. Such a shame that we don’t live locally.
This restaurant has a wealth of knowledge and offers a wide selection on both its lunch and dinner menus! They assured me that my food was prepared in a dedicated pan, which made me feel confident in my choice. I definitely recommend it as the food was delicious. The portions are generous, and the atmosphere is delightful.

We’ve dined at the Cross Keys many times due to their extensive gluten-free options. If we have any questions, the staff is always very helpful and will double-check for us. The food is of excellent quality, made from scratch right on the premises, and there's a diverse selection of menu items to choose from.
a fantastic rustic country pub in the village woolstones, but only 2 km from the center of milton keynes, the pub offers a wonderful atmosphere guided by a highly professional but cheerful couple, excellent dining and a great selection of weep and be a great place to visit and never disappointed offers
We had our sons 21st family meal a couple of weeks ago. 16 people and all meals came out together, hot and beautifully presented. I can highly recommend the food and all the staff were wonderful. Thank you so much for making our evening special xx
What a fabulous place this is with its new extension, so cosy and welcoming. Fabulous meal, staff fantastic, what more could you ask for. Definitely recommend this restaurant, you won’t be disappointed.
